We’re almost home.

Before making your way to Sonic Springs, please take a few minutes to read through the important info below so you can arrive prepared, get settled and enjoy the weekend.

GATE HOURS + ARRIVAL

Please plan your arrival during official gate hours:

THURSDAY, AUGUST 13
2 PM – 10 PM

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14
10 AM – 11 PM

SATURDAY, AUGUST 15
10 AM – 11 PM

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16
10 AM – 8 PM

Please DO NOT arrive outside of gate hours. The Front Gate will be closed and we cannot guarantee entry outside these times.

Thursday access is included with your Weekend Pass! Come early, set up camp, get settled and join us for our Thursday opening programming + pre-party.

VEHICLE PASSES

ALL VEHICLES REQUIRE A VEHICLE PASS.

Every vehicle arriving at Sonic Springs must have one of the following:

• Parking Pass
• Van / Car Camping Pass
• RV Pass

If you haven't purchased yours yet, please add one before arriving.

Forgot? Passes can also be purchased at the gate, subject to availability.

CAMPING

Camping is included with your Weekend Pass from Thursday to Monday.

• Campsites are first come, first served — sites cannot be reserved
• Bring your own tent + camping gear
• Campsites do not have individual power or water hookups
• Regular tent camping does not include your vehicle at your campsite

CAR / VAN CAMPING

Want to camp with your vehicle at your campsite? You must purchase a Van / Car Camping Pass.

TRAILERS + RVS

Arriving with a trailer, camper or RV? You must purchase an RV Pass.

REGULAR PARKING

If you're tent camping without your vehicle, park in the designated parking area and bring your gear into the campground.

Please respect your neighbours, designated camping areas, pathways and the beautiful land we're gathering on.

BRING YOUR FAM

Sonic Springs is a family-friendly festival.

• Youth 13–18 have discounted passes
• Kids 12 & under are FREE
• All minors must attend with a parent or legal guardian

Parents and guardians are responsible for their children throughout the festival.

WEATHER + SITE CONDITIONS

RAIN OR SHINE

Sonic Springs happens rain or shine.

Northern Ontario weather can change quickly, and nights can get cool + damp, even after a beautiful hot day.

Come prepared with warm layers, waterproof gear, good footwear, extra socks, sunscreen, bug spray and a flashlight or headlamp.

WASHROOMS

Porta-potties, hand-washing stations and toilet paper are provided throughout the festival grounds.

Please help us keep them clean for everyone.

NO SHOWERS

There are no shower facilities onsite.

The river, however, is incredibly refreshing.

Please do not use soap, shampoo or other products in the river — including biodegradable soap.

WATER

Drinking water stations will be available onsite.

Bring a reusable water bottle and keep it with you throughout the weekend.

Stay hydrated!

BRING CASH

Some vendors accept cards, but cell reception and internet can be spotty onsite.

We strongly recommend bringing cash for food, drinks, vendors and anything else you may want throughout the weekend.

CELL SERVICE

Cell reception can be limited onsite.

Download or screenshot anything important before you arrive, including:

• Your ticket
• Festival map
• Music schedule
• Wellness schedule
• Gate hours
• Important contact information

Then put the phone away and enjoy being here.

SAFETY + COMMUNITY CARE

DRUG + ALCOHOL FREE EVENT

Sonic Springs is a drug + alcohol-free event.

Please respect the space, the land, our hosts and the community we're creating together.

Take care of yourself.
Take care of each other.
Drink water.
Know your limits.

MEDICAL + SUPPORT

Medical, security and harm reduction support are available onsite.

If you or someone around you needs help:

• Find a staff member with a walkie-talkie
• Visit the 24/7 Medical Tent
• Visit The Sanctuary / Harm Reduction area for a calm, supportive space

If something doesn't feel right, tell someone.

We're here to support you.

RIVER + SWIMMING

The river is beautiful, but it is a natural body of water.

• Swim at your own risk
• There are no lifeguards
• Be mindful of currents and changing water conditions
• NO NIGHT SWIMMING

Swimming after dark is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

Please respect all river signage and staff instructions.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR VIOLENCE + WEAPONS

Weapons, violence, threatening behaviour, harassment or dangerous/reckless behaviour are not tolerated at Sonic Springs.

Serious violations may result in immediate removal from the festival grounds.

If you see something concerning, please tell security or a festival team member.

We all play a role in keeping Sonic Springs safe.

WHAT TO PACK

Camping gear. Layers. Rain gear. Headlamp. Reusable water bottle. Swimsuit. Comfortable shoes. Costumes. Curiosity.

OTHER IMPORTANT RULES

• NO pets
• NO glass
• NO weapons
• NO fireworks
• NO personal sound systems
• NO open fires at campsites — fires are only permitted in specifically designated/authorized areas
• Keep campsites + festival grounds clean
• Respect quiet hours
• Follow instructions from festival staff, security and venue staff
• Respect the land, the river and each other

And, obviously...
